Christopher Robert Evans, born 13 June 1981, is an American actor. Beginning his career in television, Evans played characters like Opposite sexuality in the year 2000. Evans became famous because of his performance as his character, the Human Torch Marvel Comics character in the 2005 movie Fantastic Four, and the sequel Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans also appeared in the movie versions of comics and graphic novels TMNT (2007), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009), Snowpiercer (2003). The character of Steve Rogers/Captain America was in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014 (2015), 2014), Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame in 2019 earned him even more acceptance. The Marvel films made him one of Hollywood's most well-paid actors.
