Maggie Grace was born Margaret Grace Denig, September 21, 1983. She is an American actress best known for her role as Shannon Rutherford in ABC TV show Lost. The couple had separated and she moved with her mom to Los Angeles. Although she was struggling financially and in the beginning, she made her acting debut in the role of Rachel's Room's primary character. The role she played as Martha Moxley, a 15-year-old victim of murder in the T.V. film Murder In Greenwich in 2002 earned her a nomination for a Young Artist Award. Grace Rutherford played Shannon Rutherford for Lost's first two seasons of 2004 as well as sharing a Screen Actors Guild Award (with other cast members) alongside her. Grace was a co-star alongside Tom Welling on The Fog in 2005, decided to make the move into film. Grace has been on Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club both in 2007 and Taken with Liam Neeson in 2008 as Kim Mills. In 2008, she reprised the role Taken 2 (2013) and Taken 3 (2015). The actress also appeared in Alice in Malice in Wonderland which is the modern-day version from the Lewis Carroll novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace reprised the role of Shannon in two episodes of Lost which included the finale of the series. She appeared in 2013's sixth season of Californication. She is Faith as a girl who serves as a model for the stars, and draws the attention to Hank Moody (David Duchovny). She's the child of Stephen Gyllenhaal (director) and Naomi Achs (producer), she is a bit more senior in age than Jake Gyllenhaal. In her teens She began working in small roles for her father and appeared in Donnie Darko along with her twin brother. She also was featured as a character on Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. The actress also starred in Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal received critical acclaim for her performance as the lead in Secretary (2002), which is an erotic romantic drama as well as Sherrybaby (2006). She received a nomination from The Golden Globe Award. The Dark Knight, which came out in 2008 following many highly successful movies, such as World Trade Center (2006) and World Trade Center (2006), earned Gyllenhaal more fame. The role she played in Crazy Heart as a mother with a single child was nominated to the Academy Award Best Supporting Actress. Then, she went on to play in comedies as well as dramas such Nanny McPhee and The Big Bang (2010) Hysteria (2011) and Will Not Back Down (12). The other roles she's played include Secret Service agents in White House Down (2013 an action thriller), musicians in Frank (2014 and drama The Kindergarten Teacher 2018), and her role as the Kindergarten teacher. Gyllenhaal was first introduced as a writer and director in 2021, with her psycho-drama The Lost Daughter. For the film, she won with the Best Screenplay Award at the Venice International Film Festival and received nominations for the Academy Award.
